The Hoosier National Forest has about 266 miles of hiking trails. Hike along Hemlock Cliffs in Hoosier National Forest. Discover a canyon, sandstone formations and waterfalls that offer a tranquil destination. It takes about 2 hours to hike the mile long canyon loop at a leisurely pace. It is located near Patoka Lake, 2 miles north of Interstate 64 and west of SR 37.

You can go hiking at the Twin Swamps Nature Preserve where you can get quite muddy. You will need to wear waterproof boots for this hike. Explore swamps and bald cypress trees and oak trees along the way. Discover reptiles and birds on the trails.
